
The purpose of the Association is to organize, develop and promote minor ice hockey for the youth of the City of Stoney Creek, including:
- the opportunity for all Stoney Creek youth to participate in recreational house league ice hockey, and
- the development of and participation in competitive representative ice hockey.
- Pre-Hockey
Pre-Hockey is open to all players aged 4 and 5 who are residents of Stoney Creek and wish to learn the fundamentals of organized hockey.
House League
House League is open to all players aged 6 to 20 who are residents of Stoney Creek and wish to participate in organized hockey.
Rep Hockey
Rep Hockey is available at the "AE", "AA" and "AAA" level for players who are able to make the teams. All players wishing to tryout for Travel Hockey must reside within the boundaries of what was known as the "City of Stoney Creek" prior to the amalgamation with the "NEW" City of Hamilton on January 4, 2001. - Select
Select Teams are made up of the top House League players and is designed to give the potential rep player taste of Rep Hockey. All players wishing to play Select must play on a regular House League team.
Administration
Administration of Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association exceeds that of many small to medium size businessess. As SCMHA is a completely volunteer run organization, your assistance and expertise can help.
