As members of SCMHA you have entrusted the Board of Directors to use your membership fees wisely and to improve the level of fun hockey for your children. Once a year at the Annual General Meeting these volunteers will formally report back to you on what they’ve done for the past season and what they are planning to do for the next season(s). This is your chance to get informed, to ask questions and to become part of this group if you choose.

SCMHA AWARD NOMINATIONS

With the conclusion of the 2009/2010 season, SCMHA presented its volunteer award winners on Sunday before the AGM.

Congratulations to all for their outstanding contributions this past hockey season.

Completed nomination forms for the Dave Hagel Memorial, Gene Blanchard Memorial and the Joe Cleary Memorial Awards for the 2009-10 season are to be received by SCMHA on or before March 8, 2010.

Dave Hagel Memorial Award
This award, donated by Joe Hagel Sports in memory of Dave Hagel, is awarded each year to the player who exemplifies good citizenship both on and off the ice (sports, school and community activities).

Gene Blanchard Memorial Award
This award is given each year to the person other than a player who has contributed the most to Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association.

Joe Cleary Memorial Award
This award is given each year to the person other than a player or a member of the SCMHA Board of Directors who has made outstanding and unselfish contribution(s) to Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association.
